Harmony dinner celebrating World Interfaith Harmony Week 2018 Hosted by My Community Voice convened by MiCare.
My Community Voice is a network of representatives from new and emerging communities. My Community Voice members work together representiing the needs of their communities by offering each other support and identifying opportunities for collaboration.
The Network has been devised by newly arrived communities who have settled in the Western region of Melbourne to promote community participation, share strengths, learn new skills and information, work collaboratively and provide advice to local organisations and government to improve outcomes for the community.
On the 6th February 2018, the My Community Voice network will host a dinner celebrating World Interfaith Harmony Week.
At the dinner, members of the My Community Voice and Brimbank and Maribyrnong Interfaith Network (BMIN) will explore ideas contributing to community harmony such as dialogue, mutual understanding, partnership and collaboration.
BMIN Team administration coordinates and promotes the events and initiatives on behalf f BMIN Committee.
